Custom Acrylic Cabinetry for a New York Architecture Studio

For this modern architecture firm in New York City, we designed and fabricated two unique acrylic storage systems that reflect the precision, minimalism, and material purity valued by the client’s design team. Both installations serve as functional office infrastructure while acting as sculptural elements within a contemporary workspace.

Project 1: Pivot-Hinged Acrylic Cabinets

In the first application, we created a floating wall-mounted cabinet system with ultra-clear acrylic enclosures and precision pivot hinges. Each enclosure is constructed from thick, flame-polished acrylic panels and features seamless joints, clear acrylic shelving, and brushed stainless steel hardware. The clarity of the structure allows the contents to appear suspended while maintaining full access and dust protection.

Project 2: Pull-Out Acrylic Drawer Cabinetry

In the second build, we fabricated a floor-mounted acrylic drawer system with smooth, pull-out compartments designed to store office supplies and drawing tools. Drawer handles are milled from matching acrylic and mounted flush to keep the cabinet face visually uninterrupted. Custom drawer spacing and guides were developed to hold various media and drafting materials in an organized, elegant way.
