Office Recessed Kitchenette

Custom Recessed Office Kitchenette – Petaluma, CA

Designed to blend seamlessly into two recessed alcoves, this office kitchenette combines clean lines, premium finishes, and full kitchen functionality within a minimalist architectural frame. Despite its compact footprint, it delivers high performance through thoughtful integration of appliances, durable materials, and subtle design moves.

Material Palette & Appliance Integration

Cabinetry is finished in Wilsonart’s Fairchild textured veneer, chosen for its warm-gray linear grain and commercial durability. Thermador panel-ready appliances, including the refrigerator drawers and dishwasher, were clad in matching Fairchild panels to disappear into the cabinetry. The Sharp drawer microwave, while not panel-ready, is recessed cleanly into its own custom housing for a seamless built-in look.

The countertop is made from Corian in Carbon Concrete, fabricated with an integrated Corian sink for a seamless, hygienic work surface. Fixtures include a Buster + Punch matte black faucet and built-in water filtration system.

The vertical tile pattern and integrated lighting reinforce the sense of quiet luxury in a space designed to disappear — until it’s in use.
