Domaine Carneros Winery - Salon des Rêves

Custom Champagne Bar & Serving Station – Carneros, CA

For this luxurious hospitality build at Domaine Carneros Winery, we designed and fabricated a fully custom champagne service bar and companion glassware station, merging elegant materials with precision fabrication. The goal: to create a centerpiece worthy of the winery’s world-class sparkling offerings.

The Bar: Light, Texture & Performance

The bar’s dual-surface top features black marble on the upper counter and Glacier White Corian on the lower — with a seamless, integrated Corian sink for easy cleaning during high-volume service. Wire passthroughs were precisely routed into the cabinetry to accommodate a discreet Point of Sale system and built-in refrigeration units.

Cabinet faces are clad in Wilsonart Midnight Velvet, a luxurious low-sheen veneer that resists fingerprints and offers depth and drama under ambient lighting. The entire front of the bar is wrapped in over 300 hand-placed 1” acrylic rods, creating a radiant façade that is both uplight and downlight illuminated. The effect: a soft, jewel-like shimmer that animates the space. A brass-look toe kick conceals lower lighting and anchors the bar visually.

The Serving Station: Functional Elegance

Positioned near the staircase, the serving station mirrors the bar’s materials and tone. It features a waterfall black marble counter, cabinetry in Midnight Velvet, and adjustable internal shelving for flexible glassware storage. The upper shelving is constructed from clear acrylic, reducing visual weight while adding a transparent sculptural element. It allows the champagne flutes and wine glasses to become part of the display — beautifully arranged, highly accessible.
