Modern Minimalism Meets Farmhouse Warmth in This Custom Corian Kitchen

This kitchen renovation in Petaluma blends farmhouse simplicity with a sleek, modern material palette. Designed to be both functional and timeless, the space showcases the best of our solid-surface integration, Baltic birch cabinetry, and LED-lit acrylic wine display.

Kitchen Cabinets: Corian Precision on a Plywood Core

The entire kitchen cabinetry package was built from Baltic birch plywood, offering structural strength and warm wood tones beneath ultra-clean finishes. All doors and drawer fronts were fabricated from Glacier White Corian, including two custom trash compactor fronts. The cabinetry is fitted with Blum soft-close hinges and full-extension undermount drawer glides, making daily use smooth and quiet.

The perimeter countertops are made from Concrete Corian, chosen for its matte texture and durability. At the sink, we integrated a seamless Corian basin—eliminating joints for easy cleaning and a monolithic look.

Peninsula Cabinets & Wine Display

The peninsula cabinetry mirrors the main kitchen’s construction and includes a drawer microwave integrated cleanly into the base. Facing the living area, we installed two signature clear acrylic wine racks, framed within the cabinetry and backlit with color-changing LED lighting. This element serves as both a functional wine storage solution and a lighting fixture, casting ambient light into the space and drawing the eye as a centerpiece.

The peninsula is topped with a 12-foot-long Concrete Corian counter, complete with a waterfall edge and an underside structure designed to provide both support and casual seating—ideal for morning coffee or evening wine.
